- Size: The pattern creates a cowl that is approx. 30” long and 6” high.
- Yarn: Approx. 165 yds / 150 m of any worsted weight, medium (size 4) yarn. I used Impeccable Solid by Loops and Threads in the color “Rich Orchid.” This yarn is medium (4) weight and 100% acrylic (4.5 oz / 127.5 g and 285 yds / 260 m).
- Crochet Hook:H/8 (5.00 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge. You may want to go up one hook size for the starting chains.
- Other Materials: yarn needle, scissors, measuring tape and 3 x 20 mm buttons (and a sewing needle and thread if your yarn needle doesn’t fit through your button eyes).
- Terminology: The pattern is written in English for right-handed crochet using standard US crochet terminology.
