• Size: The pattern includes instructions for three sizes. The finished pumpkin is approx. (not including the stem or leaves):
  • Small: 3” high and 13” around
  • Medium: 4.5” high and 20” around
  • Large: 6.5” high and 26” around
• Yarn: Any size 4 (medium) yarn in three colors. You will need approx.: Orange yarn for the pumpkin: Small: 55 yds, Medium: 100 yds, Large: 175 yds. Brown yarn for the stem (all sizes): 3 yds. Green yarn for the leaves (all sizes): 8 yds. I used Impeccable yarn by Loops & Threads in the colors: “Pumpkin,” for the pumpkin, “Soft Taupe” for the stem and “Forest” for the leaves. This yarn is size 4 (medium) and 100% acrylic. A skein is 285 yds / 260 m and 4.5 oz / 127.5 g.
• Crochet Hook Size: G/7 (4.50 mm).
• Other Materials: Yarn needle, scissors, a measuring tape, and polyester stuffing.
• Terminology: Written in English for right-handed crochet using standard US crochet terminology.
