• Skill Level: Easy
• Size: The pattern creates a coaster that is approx. 5.5” across.
• Yarn: Any size 4 (medium) yarn in two colors. For Color A (the heart and border), you will need approx. 20 yds for each coaster. For Color B (the background), you will need approx. 13 yds for each coaster. I used Impeccable yarn by Loops & Threads. For Color A (the heart and border), I used the color “Rich Orchid.” (Some pictures show the coasters made with “Misty Blue,” “Green Lagoon,” and “Lavender” for Color A). For Color B (the background), I used “White.” This yarn is size 4 (medium) and 100% acrylic. A skein is 285 yds / 260 m and 4.5 oz / 127.5 g.
• Crochet Hook Size: H/8 (5.00 mm).
• Other Materials: Yarn needle, scissors and a measuring tape.
• Terminology: The pattern is written in English for right-handed crochet using standard US crochet terminology.
