Wondering about making the pattern a different size or changing the pattern?

I really wish I could help and tell you exactly how to customize a pattern but unfortunately, I do not provide customization support. I truly wish I could and want to be helpful but due to the number of customization requests and the number of my patterns (I currently have over 180 patterns), I no longer have the capacity to provide customization support.

Some of my patterns have taken hundreds of hours or even months to design. I then have my patterns tech edited and tested to ensure accuracy and that they can be easily followed as well as replicated.

Even though I’m a crochet designer and have lots of knowledge of crochet, it’s not always a simple answer to change the pattern. Even a simple tweak would need to be designed, tested and tech-edited.

Whenever possible, especially with the majority of my blanket patterns, I provide instructions for adjusting the size. These instructions are included in the pattern.

The instructions for adjusting the size often include directions for making a different number of starting chains in specific multiples. For example, a pattern may say to make more or less starting chains in multiples of 3 + 4. In this example, you would take any number that you can divide by 3 and then add 4 to that number (i.e. 30 + 4 = 34 starting chains required).

For items such as pillows, hats, bags and tissue boxes, please review the “size” section of the pattern to see what size the pattern creates. Unfortunately, I am unable to provide instructions for making these items a different size due to the reasons outlined above.
