If you have purchased a pattern from my shop (thank you!) and you are having trouble printing the pattern(s), this guide is here to help.

Please note: I do not provide printing support. This guide is here to help with any issues you are having. Also, this guide is for customers who have purchased any PDF patterns from my shop. The free versions of my patterns were not designed to be printed. Please see this article for the difference between Free Patterns and PDF Patterns.

To print the pattern(s) you purchased, first download the pattern to your device (i.e. computer, tablet or mobile phone). If you are having difficulty downloading, here is a guide on how to download patterns purchased from my shop.

Once you have downloaded the printed to your device, you can now print the pattern. Instructions for where the print command is depend on your device. Here is a guide on how to print.

All my PDF patterns are fully print-ready. If you are having any trouble printing the pattern, please note that there is no setting on them that would prevent them from printing (or only printing a portion of the pages).

My patterns are just regular PDF documents that you can print like any other document. Any issues you may have printing them are usually due to your printer or the connection between your printer and the device you are trying to print from (your computer, mobile phone, tablet, etc.).

Since troubleshooting printing issues are specific to your printer, internet as well as the device you are trying to print from, I find Google a very helpful resource. You can search for your specific printer name and model and/or the device you are using and you should be able to get some suggestions to try to fix the problem. You can also refer to this general guide on how to print.

If you have printed the pattern and some sections are blank, this could be due to your printer being out of ink. For example, if your printer is out of black ink, the text/written instructions might not print. Please ensure you have ink in your printer and enough pages to print the pattern.
