• Size: The pattern creates a jar cover that is approx. 5” wide (when folded) and 3” high from the bottom. It is designed to fit a pint-size (16 oz / 2 cup) Mason jar that is 10” around, 4.75” high, 3.25” wide across the top and 2.75” wide across the bottom.
• Yarn: you can use any size 4 (medium) yarn. You will need approx. 40 yds in total (12 yds for the bottom and 3.5 yds for each round of the body). I used Impeccable by Loops & Threads and Bernat Super Value in various colors. These are both size 4 (medium) and 100% acrylic.
• Crochet Hook: I/9 (5.50 mm)
• Other Materials: yarn needle, scissors and a measuring tape.
• Terminology: The pattern is written in English for right-handed crochet using standard US crochet terminology.
