- sl st = slip stitch
- sk = skip
- sc = single crochet
- dc = double crochet
- RS = Right Side (outside)
- WS = Wrong Side (inside)
Gauge
2” x 2” = 6 sts and 6 rounds following body pattern.
Changing Colors
The pattern does not include directions for where to change colors because there are so many possibilities. You can make the jar cover in one solid color or use any number of colors. I’ve included some ideas of where to change colors but the possibilities are truly endless and I would love to see what you come up with!
Change colors after finishing a round by placing the new color on your hook and pulling the new color through the loop of your current color. Begin the next round with your new color.
You can either fasten off after each color change if you want your jar cover to be reversible or if you don’t need it to be reversible, you can keep the unused color hanging along the inside (Wrong Side) of your work and pick it back up when you need it again.
