• Skill Level: Easy
• Size: The pattern creates a basket that is approx. 5” wide and 3.5” high.
• Yarn: 
  • The basket bottom and sides are made with two strands of yarn held together so you can either separate your yarn manually or use two skeins. For the bottom and sides, you can use any size 4 (medium) yarn. You will need approx. 100 yds of red in total (50 yds / 22 g and 50 yds / 22 g when separated) and 24 yds of black in total (12 yds / 5 g and 12 yds / 5 g when separated). I used Impeccable Solid by Loops & Threads, which is 100% acrylic. A skein is 285 yds / 260 m and 4.5 oz / 127.5 g.
  • For the top, you can use any size 5 (bulky) white yarn. You will need approx. 8 yds (you only need one strand). I used Bernat Pipsqueak in “Whitey White.” A skein is 101 yds / 92 m and 3.50 oz. / 100 g.
  • For the belt buckle, you can use any size 4 (medium) golden yellow yarn (you only need one strand). You will need approx. 3 yards. I used Impeccable in the color “Sunny Day.”
• Crochet Hook Size: K/10.5 (6.50 mm) for the basket and F/5 (3.75 mm) for the belt buckle.
• Other Materials: Yarn needle, scissors and a measuring tape.
