Crochet Flower Coaster
Combine the joys of crocheting with the practicality of a coaster! These crochet daisy flower coasters will add a protective barrier to your table or countertops so you can say goodbye to unwanted spills and condensation. The bright colors will brighten up your home decor and look beautiful on your coffee table!

I’ve made these flower coasters in daisy colors but you can get creative and make flowers in any colors to match your desired color scheme. Or, mix and match different colors to make a beautiful bouquet.
By changing colors, you can easily make Christmas poinsettia coasters!

To make these Christmas flower coasters, I followed the pattern below but instead of using daisy colors, I used the colors” “Sunny Day” for the start and Round 1, “Cherry” for Round 2 and “Deep Forest” for Rounds 3 and 4.
Daisy Crochet Coaster
Daisies are one of my favorite flowers. They are simple yet radiate beauty. They also have a calming effect and are often associated with new beginnings.
These daisy crochet coasters will add a pop of color to home and bring calm and beauty into any room in your house. Or, you can bring a daisy’s rejuvenation effects to a loved one as you make a coaster set of these beautiful crochet coasters as a gift.

This free crochet coaster pattern has been carefully designed to replicate the beauty of daisies. There is a wide variety of stitches used, making it a really engaging and interesting project and a great pattern to expand your crochet skills.
These cute coasters make a great gifts. Plus, they are a very quick project. Each coaster takes approx. 30 minutes so you can make lots of coasters in a short period of time. They also don’t require very much yarn so it’s perfect project for using your leftover/scrap yarn (a stash-busting project).
You can use any size 4 (medium) yarn, which means you can use any worsted weight yarn. As for the type of yarn, I used yarn that’s 100% acrylic but the results using other yarn types should be the same. These coasters don’t require very much yarn so it’s perfect project for using your leftover/scrap yarn (a stash-busting project).
This crochet coasters pattern (below) includes detailed step-by-step written instructions as well as diagrams if you are a visual learner. And there’s a full video tutorial. Happy crocheting!

Daisy Flower Crochet Coaster Pattern Instructions
Start: With yellow yarn, make a Magic Circle (also known as a Magic Ring).
Round 1: Still with yellow, ch 1. Make 12 dc into the Magic Circle. Pull Magic Circle tight to close. (12 dc sts. Reminder: chains never count as sts.). Sl st into the top of the first dc st to join. Fasten off yellow (meaning to remove your hook, cut the yarn and pull the end through the loop).

Round 2: Reminder never turn. Attach white yarn to the first st by inserting your hook into the st, placing the yarn on your hook and pulling it through the stitch. Ch 3. In the same (first) st, tr2tog. *Ch 2. In the next st, tr3tog.* Repeat from * to * around. (1 tr2tog + 11 tr3tog – 12 sts.) Ch 2. Sl st into the top of the first (tr2tog) st made in the round to join. Fasten off white.
It’s okay if your work curls. It will flatten out as you continue the pattern.

Round 3: In the first ch-2 sp, attach green by inserting your hook into the st, placing the yarn on your hook and pulling it through the stitch. Continue using green for the rest of the pattern. Ch 1. In the same (first) ch-2 sp, (2 hdc, ch 1, 2 hdc). *In the next ch-2 sp, (2 hdc, ch 1, 2 hdc)* Repeat from * to * around. (48 hdc sts). Sl st into the top of the first hdc st made in the round to join.

Round 4: Ch 1. Sk the first 2 sts (the st attached to the ch and the next st). In the first ch-1 sp, 5 dc. *Sk the next st. In the next st, sl st. Sk the next 2 sts. In the next ch-1 sp, 5 dc.* Repeat from * to * around until there are 2 sts left. Sk the last 2 sts. (5 dc x 12 = 60 dc sts). Sl st in the ch-1 that started the round.
Fasten off and weave in all loose ends.
